How to clean a burnt pot

Question

Any tricks on cleaning the bottom of a burnt pot? Kile let some water evaporate and the food inside burnt to the bottom of the pot. Any thoughts?

take a fabric drier sheet put it in the pan and fill with hot water and let it soak overnight

will wipe right out

if you have some Cream of Tartar in the cupboard, put some at the bottom of the pot, and add a bit of water, bring to boil and lit it stand over night ,the next day most of it should be loose and it easier to clean the pot .

Let it soak in hot soapy water for about 30min, and then scrub it with a SOS pad. That should do it.

fill it up with water, add some baking soda & put it back on the stove & let it simmer for at least 1/2 hour--do a test scrape with a table knife to see if it's softened up enough to scrape off--if not , simmer longer
