I can never seem to get our shower clean from water stains, soap scum, etc. - then we had a lady clean our house one day and it was spotless! Point is - now I know it can be spotless.. I just need to know how to do it. Unfortunatley my hubby said no more cleaning help and that we can do it ourselves.. better said than done. Anyway, any tips would be greatly apprecitated!!!

  1. You need a limescale removing bathroom cleaner.  Spray on, leave for a minute or two, rinse off and dry with old rags.  You can also use vinegar/general purpose floor and wall cleaner mixed in a spray bottle 50/50.  Use the same way.  It is best to thoroughly clean your bathroom every week so that you do not get a build up of scum and lime scale.  Buy a squeegee and try and train yourselves (hard when you're in a hurry) to squeegee after every use.

  2. Use vinegar on your shower. After your shower just spray your glass and wipe it down.Looks great

  3. I would use Soft Scrub

    Windex

Bathroom cleaner (I use Clorox bathroom cleaner)

    Clean Scrub brush

    Clean toothbrush

    Clean Sponge

    Paper towels

Start by spraying down the whole shower with Your bathroom cleaner, you could also substitue your bathroom cleaner with a cleaner with bleach

Let is sit for 5-10 minutes, then respray everywhere again

Take either your toothbrush or your sponge and clean everywhere, The toothbrush is good for the hard to reach places, and An abrasive sponge is good for the soapscum, mildew, etc...

Repeat until, clean and no more stains, soapscum etc...

    Wipe with The Paper towels

Next wet the basin of your shower, and pour the soft scrub everywhere, let it sit for 3-5 minutes

take your clean Scrub brush and scrub really really good until it is clean, repeat if necessary.

Spray down the basin of your shower

Next, for the glass shower door, take your bathroom cleaner and spray it really good.  Let it sit, then respray. Wipe it down with a paper towel or clean sponge. Then windex it and wipe it off with a paper towel

    Good luck :)

  4. I use Mr Clean miracle sponges they work great.

  5. Spray your shower door with a cooking oil spray, like Pam or whatever brand you use. Let it sit for a few minutes and then rinse with hot water until all the oil is gone.
