Question:

How to clean a stuffed animal?

i have this large stuffed animal (its a moose), and its about 26" length wise. its tag says " all new materials, 100% polyester fiber, REG. NO. PA 2865(KR)" how can i wash it with out the fur getting all nasty with that sheep fur look? thanks.

  1. I'd use the gentle cycle or hand wash it in the kitchen sink with detergent.  Dry him on low heat.  I have several stuffed mooses!  (I'm a moose freak).


  2. Do not machine wash them - they never quite get back their shape when you do. Just to use a cloth with soapy water and sponge them down.

    Otherwise you can try dry-cleaning fluid, which can lift dirt, but don't drench them with it.

  3. It's really easy just put it in the washing machine gently and/or wash it in the sink with warm soapy water it will get it looking just like new By the way Moose are awesome I got a shirt in Maine it is called the black moose instead of black dog lol Hope it help
