Hello, we have just shifted out to a new apartment, and unfortunately the previous tenants were not so very cleanliness loving. Hence the floor looks kind of dirty. i tried Easy-off-bang for the corners but it left spots. now the corners look cleaner than the floor. I tried looking for cleaning methods on the net, and found some cleaner recipes including either one of household ammonia, phosphoric acid, hydrochloric acid combined with baking soda and vinegar. I could not get hold of any of the acids in the market or at a chemist's. I also need to mention here that I am from India, and it seems that the above mentioned chemicals are not readily available in markets here. Is there any other way to remove old dirt from cemented mosiac flooring????????

  1. add vineger to water and clean the floor for sparkling effect

  2. Never use acids on mosaic flooring.Daily mopping with

Lysol and weekly washing with a good detergent will soon restore the sheen if not the original shine of the tiles.Thereafter, daily use of any good branded floor

cleaner  will help you maintain the sheen of the floor.Once again,NEVER USE ACID ON MOSAIC.

    Good Luck.

  3. Yes it's possible. If your mosiac floors tails are good and strong then make one more mosiac polish by machine. It makes your floor as a new and good one.Try and enjoy it.
