Rub ice on the chewing gum.  Then it comes off the cloth by rubbing your fingernail under the gum.

The best thing to use is ice you rub it on the fabric and then just pell it off, sometimes it takes a couple of time. The other thing is goo-gone you get it at the store but becareful what kind fo fabrice you have. And I will also tell you not to use peanut butter the oils in it may stain.

Sometimes whe I got gum stuck in my shirt when I was little my dad would rub peanut butter on it and it would come off.

If you mean off your clothes? Try ice on the gum & it should lift off.

There is a product called Goof-Off. You can get it at home depot or lowes.It removes everything you could possible think of.

I know peanut butter works real well on hair.  I don't know if it will work so well on fabric or carpeting (oily residue from peanut butter would probably stain them).
