  1. A little soap and water and a light scrubing should not hurt the paint. You can also try one of the cleaning erasers like arm in hammer makes. They work well for really tough stuff. But try it in a less visual spot of the wall first. Sometimes if you rub to hard with the eraser thing they will remove more than just the stain.

  2. warm mild soapy water(tiny bit of washing up liquid or something) and a sponge-if it is a good paint job and you don't scrub to hard this will be fine-you may need to rinse with plain water after. If stubborn dirt may need to re-paint-if you use silk paint this is a tougher finish-but make sure you prep well as shiny paint shows up all the flaws on the walls.

  3. Use a kitchen cleaning agent such as flash, but don't spray onto the wall as it will run down the paint work and leave streaks, spray onto a sponge or cleaning cloth and gently work over the stain a little at a time.  If its a good paint it shouldn't come off on the cleaning cloth.  Just be gentle and you should be fine.
