How to clean desk ?

I have just bought a desk from walmart and its dark brown and I cleaned it off with Pledge wipes when I first got it and now it looks as if it has streaks on it. Its plasterboard or compressed wood or something. How do I clean this without leaving spots that make it look discolored ? Thanks for the help in advance !!!!!!!!!

Try some murpheys oil soap. It might do the trick. If not- its great to wipe down anything that is made of wood, as kitchen cabinets, tables, etc. It's worth a try!

Spray the surface with Windex--NO substitutes!!--and then wipe off with a towel or rag. The surface will then be dull, and to restore the shine spray it again with Endust or Pledge (NOT the wipes!!) and wipe again with a cloth. That should work.
