  1. I cleaned my patio yesterday with a Karcher - it really surprised me how well it worked. It removed all moss, grime, 20-year old dirt. Definitely buy/hire/borrow one of those :-)

    Good luck!

  2. i cleaned mine a couple of weeks ago.  a jet wash seems to be the way forward

  3. tsp or tsp substitute..mix it with wtaer and take a stiff bristled broom and scrub..let it set then a good common high pressure water hose nozzle will blast it right off..no need for a pressure washer...

  4. Karcher with "t-racer" patio/decking brush attachment. Comes up like new and so easy to do !

  5. Pressure hose should do the trick.Careful around the joints as you can blast them out , which means re pointing.

  6. Another method is to cover the stones under a tarp for a month (not so practical in summer). The bio-film which covers the stones creates an adhesive for the dirt. Without light this will die - then just blast off the residue. it'll stay clean for a long time afterwards.

  7. Elbow grease! good for you and the environment, use a weak bleach solution and scrub with a stiff yard broom. Rinse off with clean water. Removes grime and algae, simple.
