Most answers I read on this problem are about things you should do before the water damage is done or using CLR, Tilex, Vinegar, and other household products to solve the problem. I bought this house with severe hard water and soap stains on the shower doors and nothing including Phosphoric Acid has worked so far. Any help out their about SEVERE stains?

  1. Well... you can try using muriatic acid (also known as hydrochloric acid)...

Rather than cleaning this is a corrosive solution that's really effective... just make sure you just use this ONCE and due to the severeness of the stains, otherwise you can damage the surface of your bathroom tiles...

    They'll shine!

  2. We had hard water1

I bought some Zud and it really cleaned those spots out , use a bit of it on a damp cloth and rub the shower door ,rise and the door is clean. If you don't already have one install a water softener in your house .
