How to clean mildew from a water bottle straw?

I have one of those ridged straws for a water bottle but it has mildew in it and I can figure out how to get it out.

  1. That's mold, not mildew.... and can make you very sick.... not worth it.  Buy a new one.


  2. buy a new one save sometime

  3. Try a pipe cleaner.=)

  4. Bleach and water solution. Soak it.
