How to clean my ac condenser??

Question

Oher than spraying it from the inside out with a water hose, should I do anything else to clean it? Also does it really matter if I spray it rom the inside or outside?

It matters because you want the debris to leave the unit and not pushed to the inside,That is the best way to clean it.Although a non acid cleaner in addition will help.

I'd try using a air compressor  with a air nozzle, you might have to tape the front off the air con unit so dust and dirt doesn't blow into the room
