How to clean my bed matress?

how iam sure it colects lots of germs i clean the bed cloths regualary but what about the matreess?

The best way to clean a mattress is with a steam cleaner. You can rent one at the grocery store. I recommend buying one. I have a Hoover that I got at Walmart and I love it. I use it for all cleaning the car, mattresses, upholstery and carpeting. After it's clean cover your mattress with a washable cover.

Vacuum your mattress at least once a month.  This will help keep it clean.

Then get a mattress cover to go under your sheets.  You will still need to vacuum the mattress, but this will help keep it cleaner longer.

Scrub your mattress with hot water and dish soap-pat dry-and let it dry well for 24 hours. Place a protective mattress pat over the mattress and use a good quality cotton sheet-they are easy to wash and need to be washed on a very regular basis.

You should put a protective layer over your mattress, and if your mattress has turned yellowish it is usually a sign to get a new one.

Get a can of upholstry foam and follow the instructions.. Vacuum your entire mattress throughly.  BOTH sides.... You can also spray it with anit-bacterial febreze or lysol... Let the mattress dry.. Circulate a fan and put on a waterproof mattress cover.  Then you bed linens... We've had our bed for about 7 yrs. and it looks brand new!
