How to remove the limescale from the tefal part, at the lower part of my new glass kettle?

There are a number of retail lime scale remover products that are available in the grocery or hardware store.  One called Simple Green Lime Scale Remover claims to be strong yet safe for use on household surfaces including coffee pots and such.  

Soaking the kettle in white vinegar or lemon juice for 30 minutes or so may remove the scale also and not be harmful to your skin, the kettle or your plumbing.  If the buildup is really bad then you might try making a paste with baking soda and vinegar and scrubbing the kettle with that on a sponge.

There are also some products available at the grocery store for descaling coffeemakers.  Mixing that up and letting your kettle soak in it may do the trick.
