How to clean off dirty tennis balls?

Almost every time i'm playing tennis do I find "new" tennis balls – full of dirt and mudd. I can't scrubb it off. How shall I clean them?

  1. Tennis is one of the few sports where you need to replace balls frequently. They lose their bounce quite quickly so toss them or give them to a local school (they put them on the feet of chairs). For matches you should always use a fresh set of balls.   2. by going to the shop and buying new ones. It's not expensive :-)

  3. Lend them to me. My puppy will slobber all over them for you, they'll come clean, but they might be a bit wet and soppy lol.

  4. ha, what a funny question to read.

    Just buy new tennis balls.  If you wash them they will become ruined from the water.  

    Keep your balls on the court, they wont get dirty!
