when I use just a water, it does not get clean because there is a greasy spots (darks, black, gray, etc); if I use cleaner like Spray9, Simple Green, etc), the paint comes off gradually after each cleaning, more and more.

Thank you

  1. I agree once you get it cleaned you need to repaint with an oil based paint. Try using either 409 or Multi-purpose spray cleaner by pledge. They both work pretty good.

  2. Use  409  it  works  great  it  will  make  the  metals  door  clean ,  it  removes  grease  and  other  stuff.  It  won't  take  the  paint  off.  I  use  it  on  everything.

  3. The paint sounds like the problem, not the cleaners.  It sounds like they have a chalky coat of latex.

I'd sand lightly, and then put down an oil-based primer, then an oil-based coat of enamel paint.  After this, the paint won't come off when you clean.  At all.

  4. TSP (tri sodium phosphete) you can get in the paint dept. It is made specifiacly to safely remove grease and grime from painted surfaces without harming the finish
