How to clean rock band instruments?

I clean my Guitar Hero controller with rubbing alcohol, you can put it in a mister/sprayer bottle or just use it straight out of the bottle on a clean rag and then wipe it down. All that dirt and gunk should come right off. Alcohol is the safest to clean electronics, because even if some did happen to get in the strum bar, etc. it would evaporate quickly and won't cause damage. If your controller has stickers or anything on it though just try to clean around them so they don't peel off. That happened with mine. Other than that alcohol is your best bet for getting it clean again.
