How to clean rust off of golf club?

I have an old Titleist Cameron Studio Design 1.5 Putter and the head is covered with rust. Can I save this club in any way possible!?!?

  1. steel wool


  2. USE RUST REMOVING GEL OR RUST DESOLVER. AVAILABLE IN HARDWARE STORE.

    Steel Wool

    Wire Brushes

    Hard-bristled Toothbrushes

    Golf Club Cleaners

    Sandpaper

  4. Either l**k it off or take a bazooka and blast it off.

  5. 1. You can soak them in a universal, all-powering cleaning agent ~ COKE!

    2. Most irons are made of stainless steel or similar. A good stainless steel metal polish usually works for me. For tough stains use a non-metal scourer. Both items can be picked up at Big W.

  7. Believe it or not, try a brillo pad. It will not scratch crome.

  10. get some wd-40 and fine grit sand paper and elbow grease, then wipe dry and use polish or a rubbing compound and you will get it all shiny!

  12. Had the same issue. Those Camerons rust like crazy. I use Naval Jelly -- a rust removal product from my local Ace hardware. Works like a charm.

    Your other option: For $50 or so (at least that's what it used to cost), you can send it back to Titleist for a refurbishing. They'll clean the club, buff out scratches and dents, and put a new grip on it.
