How to clean/whiten figure skates??

My ice skates have blue paint , and dirt on them, how can i get rid of it and make it look new again. I can't stand the spots?

skate tape, boot covers, or get some skate polish

if nothing else go to a skate shop and see if there is anything they can do

i would suggest wiping them off after you use them and then puting them in skate bags to protect the boot and the blade as well as keep them dry

You can use sk8tape and tape your skates or you can use white boot polish (they make some special for ice skates), though the boot polish may rub off after some time.

I always used to use nail polish remover (or acetone from the hardware store), just pour some on a cloth and then rub at the spots.  Then follow up with some skate polish.  To keep your skates nice after that you might want to try boot covers or skate tape.

WD 40 is heaven! That's what I use when my skates get ugly.

Or even just was the dirt off and tape them up. But here's a little trick, don't buy regular skate tape, just use white electrical tape =)

You can use nail polish remover just a little on a cotton  ball and rub it softly around the surface. IT worked for mine! =P good luck!

You can use skate tape to cover the boot up, or bootcovers.

To get rid of the marks white leather polish, and a good scrub in hot soapy water. But dont scrup do hard or you may damage the leather. You can get a spray to keep them clean and prevent marks. Other wise just ask in a pro shop and you will get the best advice from there. Also lemon juice may work on the pain with the acid in the juice.

Its worth a try.

Usually ice skating rinks have good services that clean and repair your skates. For around $20.00-$35.00.

At least my ice skating rink has that.
