How to clean wooden bench?

Question

I have a wooden bench in my yard. its been there for a couple of years and its accumulated a lot of dirt and possibly moss over the years. the dirt is hard to clean because it has gotten into the cracks on the wood. How do I get it to look brand new again?

i have no idea what kind of wood it is..

spray  with  cleaner  first , let  it  soak ,power  wash  or  scrub  good  and  clean  by  hand  ,sandpaper  and  varnish  and  ............................FINISH

First you want to clean it with soap and water ... and a lot of muscle!  Then, sand it and then apply the stain and sealer.  Or, at least a sealer - to protect it from the outdoor elements.  Wolman F&P is a good choice.
