If you are using their Internet banking, you can write to Account Manager for closing of the a/c. Alternatively, A/c holder(s) have to give an application in writing signed by all of them together, if more than one a/c holder; comply with certain RBI formalities mainly declarations etc. and the account can be closed. Such an application need to be given at the branch where A/c was originally opened.
