How to close Provident Fund Account from Abroad?

Dear Robertras,

Please do as follows:-

1. Go to www.epfindia.nic.in.

2. Then go to Forms.

3. Download Form - 19.

4. Fill the form. Verify that all columns are filled correctly.

5. Send the filled form by Courier to the respective PF Office, where your PF account is maintained.

6. With in 4-6 weeks the money from your PF account will be credited to your bank account, as provided by you in the form - 19.

7. Verify your bank account status online and with draw the money by using your Debit / Credit card.

You can write a mail to the bank stating the same and they will deposit the amount to your account whichever you have mentioned in mail else if that branch is present in your city also you can transfer your account there also and within 7week days you will get your amount.

Submit the application in the proper format to the concerned authorities With due authorisation to receive the amount under proper power of attorney ,if law permits so as per PF rules.
