How to color pictures on computer after drawing by hand

ok well i draw like wolves and stuff and i want to put them on deviantart but i want to color them first.

but (*sighs*) i cant color them on paint (its stupid, doesnt work) :(

so i need to know if itlle look nice and work good on paint shop pro or something :D. HELP!

  1. Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator would be your best bet if you can get ahold of them.
