How to come to pondicherry from Navallur (IT coridor), Chennai via ECR?

I belong to pondicherry. I am working in a IT comp. in Navalur. I want to come from and go to pondicherry from Navalur. Please some one help me how to go to pondicherry from Navalur.

Hi Krishna,

I am not sure that you are travelling every day or weekly from Pondy to Navalur.

Because if you are travelling every day means, its a bit hectic one for you go to Navalur.

The reasons are,

1. First of all, there is straight bus facility from Pondicherry to Navalur. Eighter you need to get down at Maamallapuram (most of buses will drop you at Maamallapuram Byepass itself) or you need to get down at Thiruvanmiyur.

2. If you are getting down at Maamallapuram means, you should have the Bus Route Numbers and respective timing (because the frequency is very less from Maamallapuram).

3. If you are getting down at Thiruvanmiyur means, you can get lot of buses frequencies (M5, 21H, H21, 521...) But the Travel timing is Pondicherry - Thiruvanmiyur (2:30 Hrs) and Thiruvanmiyur - Navalur (45 minutes).

If you are travelling by daily means its very hectic. While coming from Pondy you can get seat in the buses but in the return route you can't get seat in the peak hours.

In fridays, after evening 4:00 PM all the buses to Pondicherry are full with weekend regular passengers.

   Reg travel from pondy to navalur, there are so many buses from pondicherry to cheenai via ECr, where you can get down at palavakkam or at thiruvanmiyur and catch one more bus for navalur.

While returning to pondy, if possible come to mahabalipuram and then catch a bus to pondy. But don't expect to occupy a seat from mahabalipuram, since there is always rush in the buses.

i hope there are some govt buses which is reaching pondichery from chenni thru old mahabalipuram road.  And more over you can reach mahabalipuram from thru old mahabalipuram and then you can reach pondy.
