  1. Your best bet looks something like this -

On Vermont, take the 204 south to Washington, then take either the 35 or 335 to the Washington/Fairfax center. From there catch the 534 line, which will take you all the way to PCH and Malibu Canyon (Pepperdine). Then it's a walk up the hill. Recommend you dry run this route to get a feel for the timing. Here's the web site:

    All the best.

  2. you have a few ways for this route suggest get a day pass for $5.00

first you can take the Vermont bus to (you do have a few choices)

but the trip planner suggested taking the Vermont bus the rapid or the 204 to Washington then transfer to Line 35 to the West Los Angeles transit center then transferring again to the 534 (if you go this

route with the day pass you would still have pay 50cents additional

    for the freeway zone charge)

you would have to leave your starting location at 10:27am

and you will arrive Pepperdine at 12:13p (then you will still have to climb a nice LONG hill either at Malibu canyon and Civic center or John Tyler

and PCH (the two stops serving Pepperdine)_

you could also take the same bus (204 or 754 to Vermont

then transfer to 720 (make sure this bus is going to Santa Monica!)

the 720 *should* let off in Santa Monica at Broadway (normally the stop would be Colorado and ocean (but this stop is closed) (which also

happens to be the same stop for the 534) but this way you dont have o pay for the express charge)

I would also try to leave earlier the better (if you do you might (if you go via wilshire you might be able to catch the wilshire rapid express

    line 920 (a little faster then 720)
