How to compress power point?

i want to compress my power point file that has 16.2mb to make it 10mb or below without dividing my file into to parts... is there any program that i can use to compress? because winrar just lessen my file 0.1mb... hope some can help me

Depending on the file types that you may have included in your powerpoint file some may not compress as well as others. Some things like video and clip art you may have little to no control over, however there are a few things that you can do to reduce your file size.

Photographs can be a big killer for your file size. Often times you will insert a high resolution image or one that is really large into your PowerPoint even though you only need a small picture. Resizing images in a graphics program like Photoshop Elements before placing them in your presentation can dramatically reduce file size.

If your presentation uses a custom background image, placing this image in the master template instead of on each page individually can reduce the file size by quite a lot.
