how does ovulating work? and also i have heard that theres certain time to try to concieve a baby girl is that true?

I saw something on a Discovery show about how girl sperm live longer, and it said something about having s*x a few days before ovulation or something. I am not 100% sure, but I do know they say they live longer in the body once ejaculated.

I also think they swim slower to the egg.

Ive heard 'girl sperm" last longer than "boy sperm" so its best to have s*x about 3 to 4 days before ovulation..since sperm can live for about 5 days inside the uterus. But, hey be happy with whatever s*x you get. good luck.

Male sperms are fast little swimmers but don't live very long. Female sperms are slow but live longer than male sperms. So if you have s*x before you ovulate like a day or 2 before then when the egg gets there the only sperm left are the females. If you have s*x while ovulating then the male sperm will get to the egg first.

no thats not true at all

it depends on the gene pool of the father. his sperm and genes decide whether it will be a girl or not. your body honestly has no say in it cuz you have two X chromosomes where as the man has an X and a Y
