How to configure codec to highest quality for anime?MKV?MOV?

Hi.

Can some1 tells me how I can configure the codec especially for anime because if I convert it,the quality doesn't changed at all even a little...just same...I hope some1 can help me out.

Gomplayer does play .mkv and .mov files. Also .avi, divx, .flv and many more
