How to configure my router?

I have a Netgear WNDR3300 router and i need to forward ports 6112-6119 for warcraft III to host. anyone know how? Also i am on windows vista with McAfee security center running.

Mainly all it is i want to do is Let people be able to join my network while playing the game using the gate(ports) 6112-6119

  1. This is actually easier than it looks. Just pay attention to every step and you should be fine. You have to have admin privileges on your network, though, to be able to open ports.

    I've already selected the router and the program to speed things up for you. Just click on the link below , follow the instructions on this page carefully and you should be able to forward port 6112 TCP for Warcraft III. Good Luck!

  3. First locate the manual for your router. Look for the address to type into Internet explorer to access it. It will probably be //192.168.0.1 or //192.168.1.1 Then enter the username and password, again, its best to have the manual for what these default to. Once you are logged in look through the tabs for a screen to open ports in the firewall. I can't tell you much more because I cant picture the menus for the netgear off hand.
