My son who is studying in boys only school, is champion in tennis in his school. He is 16.He thought he is best in tennis but I knew he isnt.He believed no girl can beat him.2 days before my friend as well as his english madam [same as my age] visited my home.At one point of talking she said that tennis playrs in her school are not good.My son argued with her and he invited her to play. She accepted it and game starts in our compound.I remebered she was one among better players in our school. But that was2o years before and she never used to play it nowadays so i thought my son would win.But score was 6-0 6-0 in favour of her. Then he said game was out of 5 sets and until then he was checking her game.Game restarts again but in first game itself one of her powershot got his testicles. He collapsed into ground. He cried and we helped him to get into his room. She asked him to keep icepack.Still now he is walking with open legs.he is too embarrassed to face me.He also didnt want to go to school. How could I change him

  1. Just make sure he's healthy. His pride is something he'll work out on his own.

  2. OMG...seriously? Go be a mother to him, and tell him you are sorry for his embarrasement, and that you still think he is a good player, and that it was only an accident. Goodness, his pride is hurt...as well as his body...doesn't any of this come natrual to you as a mom?? Most mothers don't like to see their child in pain...go give him a hug.

  3. loosing is a part of life and if he has a problem with that then he needs to learn it.

far as the injury well suppose you wont have to worry about a grand son now so that this wont repeat its self.

  4. I hope this isn't a serious post...

  5. poor boy.

from your avatar, u sound indian and u must be a very very  modern westernized women.  thats good.

usu indian women wld pamper and worship the path their son / husband walks.

try reading bahai writings on gender equality and then hv a good pep talk with him on how the genders are equal.  there shldnt be competition or who is better.  both hv their respective roles to play.  both shld complement and supplement and support each other for the betterment of society.  he mustnt be taught that men are superior.  this is a fallacy.  its like a bird - both wings must be strong to fly.  for an ever advancing civilization, women must be accorded their rightful place in governance

    all the best
