Its asking database user name, password and protocol (mysql-4.1...etc). My database is in server via Web host manager. I want to connect it through this software.

  1. Hi,

I have attempted do this but with varying success. First you you have whitelist your IP in your preferences. It means only this IP can use a database client to the web host. Then you have to configure things like hostname, password, username, port in the MagneticOne. You can ask technical support, generally they can solve this issue for you.

If you ask me, I say use phpmyadmin from cpanel, that's easy and straightforward !
