I would suggest you call an electrician or ask some of your friends if they're familiar with wiring.  If you have up to date wiring, the black wire goes to the brass colored scres.  The wire wire goes to the silver colored s***w and the green or bare wire goes to the green s***w on the end of the outlet.  Please make sure all connections are correct and tight.  It doesn't save you any money if you destroy an appliance or burn your house down.
