  2. if ur tv is new-ish it may have be best to use a vga cable similar to how you may hook up a pc monitor. new lcd tvs tend to have a vga input

  3. Yes.  There are S-Video to RCA (the red, white, and yellow connector) adapters that you can buy.

  4. well, you should be happy that your new PC does not have an s-video slot. s-video is really old and the quality is bad. there are better connections you should look for.

1- many TVs have VGA connections. VGA is mostly used in monitors and it looks like a trapezoid with many holes in it. the quality is pretty good.

2- DVI is a fantastic connection for video. the quality is stunning. but unfortunately not every TV has a DVI connection.

3- the ultimate connection which is used in almost every new TV, is HDMI. HDMI is a connection that pulls both video and audio and the quality is simply astonishing.

you probably have at least one of these connections on your PC and TV. plus, if your PC has a DVI slot and your TV has a VGA slot, you can easily get an adapter.

    I hope that helps you

  5. If you look on eBay, There are plenty of adapters that have a VGA/Monitor plug on one side and a Composite Phono/S-Video/SCART on the other.
