all you have to do is,

on your cable box, output 1, make an A/V connection with your tv,for video use the component(red,blue,green) video connection(you will use the hdmi out for the HT connection) and the anolog (red,white) audio. Then for your receiver just make an hdmi connection from your cable box's hdmi out to your receiver's hdmi input. Then take the hdmi out from your receiver and connect with your tv
