How to connect my internet and pc through a Hub

Hi, i seriously need some Help...

I have to systems in my house and a broadband internet service...

i wanna connect both my systems and the Modem in my hub and want all three to work properly... My internet ip address is 59.92.13.78. Note: 1. I want to share both the systems by connecting them through a Hub( I can do that). But 2. How to connect Internet to both the Systems through the Hub... pls answer my questions as soon as possible... and pls send a copy of ur answer to my e-mail id rogermarkwalker@gmail.com...

  1. you need a router and not a hub.  Plus nobody is going to email their answer to you..../

Connecting multiple computers to the Internet is different, you need a router.  The router will also have multiple ports to connect computers so, you probably wouldn't need the hub.  If you get a wireless router, you will also have the flexibility of adding wireless connections in the future as well as wired ones.  Don't forget to set up the wireless security features of the router!

  3. If you want to share internet connection to more than 1 computer, using hub will not solve the problem since hub is just a dummy hardware and can't assign any IP address, so you will need a router

  4. You need a router not a hub.  a router will allow 4 cabled connections and wireless.  Set it up in line with your internet box/modem.
