How to connect to a wireless server using Wifi from my laptop?

i just bought a laptop and when i tried to connect to a wireless server so i can go onto the internet it said that i need a pass phrase to use it? i dont understand what i need to do so i can wirelessly be on the internet without having ot be hooked up with wires

please i need some major help

your wireless hub, should have a pass key on the back of it or with the paperwork.

to enable your wi fi on the actual laptop, press FN (bottom left) and then the F10 button.

Is this your router that you're trying to access? If it is then you will have to go in and get the pass phrase and enter it into the laptop. You will have to plug in your laptop, or use a PC that is already plugged into that router to check for the pass phrase. You can get into your routers settings by entering 192.168.1.1 in your browser. From there go to something along the lines of "security" to find the key.
