  1. Well the only way to conquer ones fears is to tackle it head on,

But if you got dizzy and pale you might want to get excused from the 4 weeks which i doubt will happen.

  2. i no how you feel, i have a problem like that too. I cant stand watching and learning about the human body, once we had to dissect a heart and i turned pale and ran outside so that i could catch my breath.

I just ask if i can go and get a drink and i stay outside for a little bit to get some fresh air.

If you have to watch videos about diseases then i would recommend turning away when a gory bit comes up or just ignore it and ask friends for notes later.

  3. think POSITIVE, don't imagine it. and more exposure to your fear will make you fell better so on.

  4. OH KK so ask the teacher or watever to excuse yu from watching the video because u were pale theyl probably let u do somfin else

  5. Fear is something that is in power over you, it controls you, it's the ultimate power , horror. You can't accept the view of it. What of those you can't see, and the dust... Dis-eases are the reverse side of ease. Try and do the opposite of your fear and think of the learning process rather. You still have time to make a new approach to the dissections, make yourself at ease by using your pc, day by day force your eyes to get accustomed to view some bit at a time. You'll rid fear of you.

    Much luck.

  6. firstly, you should talk to your class teacher and explain the circumstances.  you might be able to resolve the problem with the help of you teacher or you might be able to do some different work to get the marks.  but first you should try to conquer your fear.

secondly, this might be hard but you have to start some where.  you might like to do this with a friend or family member.  try reading about some common non-serious diseases.  try to find out why you are scared of  diseases. you might see your doctor and try to sort it out this way, which is safe and more informative.

try to maybe watch some of the videos but leave class if it too much and just do a little bit more each time.

you are not alone.  i fainted in science class when we were watching a video on reproduction. lol.

you just have to be strong and patient with your self.  get to the bottome of the problem and try to resolve the underlying problem first.

goodluck.  sorry my ideas are not in order.

  7. Just think of happy thoughts : )

  8. The best way to conquer is confrontation, so go get a disease.

    :P

Just man up, its a video :P

  9. talk to the government and they will kill them so you dont have to

  10. Do you think homeless people are as afraid of diseases as you are?

  11. I had the same fear and for a while i got convinced that i had certain diseases, like cancer and neurological illnesses, and eventually i got neurological symptoms, but they tell me it's just my anxiety that is causing them.

My answer is to see a specialist, there is no answer that will cure you, do some closer analysis of  your thoughts that lead to your anxieties and you will generally find that they have no basis in logic.

  12. Yes, some people get squeamish at some things such as diseases and blood or other such things. As with all other fears, the key to overcoming it is to face it. By that I mean force yourself to watch lots of videos on the disease and read a lot about it. The more you get used to it, the less you'll fear it. I remember I got over my fear of darkness by spending several minutes in the dark, scared as h**l, but still staying there with my lights off until I learned that there was nothing there except that there was no light and that nothing would hurt me. Face your fear head-on, learn more about it and expose yourself to it more-- the same goes for any fear you may have, and you will overcome it.
