I suppose u will have to contact that person`s friends to get the number.The telephone operator can`t help u  as that person has paid to have his or her phone number unlisted.I have my telephone number unlisted ,too..

Call the operator and tell them what city the person lives in and their name.

If that doesn't work then I can't help you.

It depends on what you are contacting them for.  If it is an emergent situation, the operator can call them on your behalf and ask if they would accept your call.  If it's not an emergency, address a letter or phone call to there work.
