How to control a racing bike?

I'm playing a bike racing simulation and was hoping bike owners here could explain a few things regarding the use of brakes (front, rear, or both) when entering a corner.

I can't experiment with my scooter. :)

Thanks people.

  1. maybe u can search on internet...actually i like to buy a racing bike but i need to save money first as now i am studying and need some money..haha...sometimes i need to have patience...

  2. Braking while turning is not advisable. Brake hard right before you enter the turn, then give gentle throttle through and accelerate out. Though slight rear brake can help to "settle" the bike and keep it smooth through.

  3. This may be a bit over simplified, but always brake before you start to lean and use your front brake as much as possible without crashing. The front brake will give you much more stopping power so you can brake later. Never use the front by itself, use both together.
