Question:

How to convert M4P to MP3?

I bought some music off itunes, but have moved it to a different computer. This computer is old and will not run well with itunes on, and I also don't have access to the other computer that I bought the music on (a relative currently has it and are several hundred miles away). I can't use the music currently, as I can't load up itunes to authorize the music (due to the slow machine I'm using). I need to convert the music from M4P to MP3 to play it in windows media player.

Any help would be great.

Thank You

  1. As I know iTunes downloaded music files (M4P) have DRM protection which prevent users from playing iTunes media with other incompatible players.

So, you need a DRM converter to convert the M4P to usable MP3 to play it in windows media player.

Right click the file in iTunes and select "Show in Windows Explorer".

Free download this converter, drag and drop the protected files to it:

It can convert iTunes DRM files (M4P, M4V, M4A, M4B) and Windows Media DRM files (WMV, WMA) to any audio and video formats. And also perform all types of standard conversion including video to video, video to audio, audio to audio and EVEN high-definition video (M2TS, TP, TRP, TS, AVI)

  2. You can get a program called TuneClone Audio Converter to help you. It works like a charm.
