Question:

How to convert MKV with subs?

by  |  earlier

I like to watch my anime on my psp since it is portable. But recently the anime that I am watching right now has MKV files. I had this problem before where i couldnt see the subs when i convert the MKV file into mp4 format, which led me to believe that AVI files has the subs attached to the video itself. So I am wondering how I can convert my MKV files into mp4 without losing the subtitles.

Thank You

  2. extract subs with mkvextract (http://www.bunkus.org/videotools/mkvtool... ), then use PSPVC ( http://pspvc.nswardh.com ) with subtitles to encode to PSP Format.

  3. I've yet to find a converter that will convert .mkv into .mp4 while retaining the subs. That's why you should look around to find the anime in .avi format.
