How to convert a Rmvb file?

I have 28 files (80mb each +-) and they are all in .rmvb

i have a player that can handlt them but i want to burn them onto a dvd and watch them on my television.

can annyone help me on how to do this.

i dont rly know how to burn a cd (lol)...

and almost every converter program i know/found is payed...

so i need a program or something so i can convert them into a normal extension and a program to burn them onto a dvd and iv checked 80mb x 28 files = 2.2Gb :-)

PLZ! help me.
