  1. iPod can only support mpeg4 video. You will need to have a 3rd party tool to help you to convert dvds and video into mp4 or h264 format, add them into itunes library, then sync to ipod , see this side by side reviews of dvd to ipod converters for help http://www.dvdtoipodtouch.net/  to get the right converter.

  2. Here's one: http://www.regnow.com/softsell/visitor.c...

If your DVD's are copy-right protected (which most movies are), you're out of luck, if you're looking for something free. DVD Fab can take out the copy-right protection but you'll have to pay. If you have a Mac, you can use MactheRipper. That's the only way you can remove the copy-right protection for free.

    Hope this helps!

  3. Actually, MacTheRipper cannot undo some types of protection.

Besides, what you need is an .MP4 converter. The best one, in my opinion is Handbrake (http://www.handbrake.com). I don't know if it's available for PC.

    Hope I helped!

  4. Ok, you now can use a DVD  to iPod Ripper software to help you :

It can convert DVD to iPod touch, iPod classic and iPod nano players.

There is also a step by step guide to teach you :

PS: if you are using Mac OS, you can free download and try this one :

Sincerely hope it can help you soon : )
