  1. The only way to do it is to burn them as an audio CD and then rip that CD to mp3 files (you can change your iTunes Import preferences to mp3).

If you bought iTunes Plus songs, then you can just convert them to mp3 without burning them to CD first, but most songs sold on iTunes have to be FairPlay encrypted files due to the record companies contracts.

  2. i am not sure if this will work because i heard it somewhere and i haven't tried it my self but you could give it a shot. try ripping the songs in the CD you just made using Windows Media Player and you might be able to import them as mp3 files. good luck

  3. You need ImTOO DVDs/Movies to iPod Suite

ImTOO DVD + Movies to iPod Suite is easy-to-use iPod converter software which helps you rip DVD to iPod and convert video files to iPod MP4 video with high conversion speed. It supports converting all popular video files like AVI, MPEG, DivX, WMV, RM and DVD to iPod video MP4, and transferring videos to iPod with ease. This iPod converter is your best choice to solve the problem of how to put DVD on iPod video.

  4. Just take the original files you put into your library and put them on you're CD's.

  5. As I know iTunes downloaded music files (M4P) have DRM protection which prevent users from playing iTunes media with other incompatible players such as PSP, Zune, Creative Zen, etc.

So, you need a DRM converter to convert the M4P to MP3:

Right click the file in iTunes and select "Show in Windows Explorer".

Free download this converter, drag and drop the protected files to it:

It can convert iTunes DRM files (M4P, M4A, M4B) and Windows Media DRM files (WMA) to any audio formats.

  6. music files from itunes are drm-laden. in order to play them on mp3 players other than ipod and iphone, you need a special program to help strip off the protection and convert the itunes m4p, m4b, m4a music to mp3. i always use tuneclone. my friend introduced it to me. it automatically generates a virtual cd burner, with which the music files can be converted at very high speed.

you can learn more about it from:

  7. i think that if you right click the songs on itunes there should be an option that says "covert to mp3" or the like. then I would just make a playlist with the songs you want in mp3 and make the cd that way. Or just google some mp3 converters off the web (there's alot out there that are free and easy to use)
