How to convert my nikon L1 into web camera?

i want to use digital cera which is having video mode of recording as web camera. please help i n solving this.

Not unless your owners manual says it can.

Most high quality P&S cameras have battery saving schemes like automatically shutting off after a minute, 5, 10 or in some cases 30 minutes.  Even with freshly charged batteries, you camera would not last more than about an hour if you  could use it as a webcam.

I guess the question is why would you want to use your BMW off road when a good used surplus Jeep would work better?

For under $30, you can buy a real webcam and use your fine L1 for shooting your friends and other adventures.
