How to convert my videos without losing quality?

I often record my favorite programs on my PC, but they occupy too much space on hard disc (about 72MB per minute).

I want to convert them in another format without losing the quality of the image. The actual format is MPG. Thanks

  1. You may convert your MPG video to MP4 video, MP4 has higher compress ratio than MPG. It can help you keep the same quality with smaller file size. If you don't know how to do that, here is a step by step guide for you
