How to convert old pc speakers to usb plug in?

i have an old set of pc speakers that plug into a round hole plug in at the back of my computer.i was wondering if there is an adpter that i can plug the male connecter into and then plug the other end into a usb port.

there is one quustion, for data or for power.

if you mean you want to you it for the music data, you will need a usb soundcard around 15$, this is a good route if you dont have a soundcard installed or using a serverbase that wont take the pci soundcard.

if for power, then the speakers would have to be designed to run on 5v @ 500ma max, most powered speakers run on 12v at 1amp or higher so depending on what you want then its possible.
