for my project, i was trying to see how to convert p**p (f***s) into energy

would you just burn it like coal, and use the heat given off of that to power the electrical generator, or would you do something else?

  1. Burning it is one idea, but what you want is the methane.  There might be other flammable stuff you need to look for, though....

  2. pick out the peanuts and feed the hungry.

  3. Um... Well, burning stuff produces energy, but harnessing it is a whole different matter. I can't really think about anything other than steam engines right now, so I can't help you.

  4. Hello ,

Watch>  Mad Max "Beyond Thunderdome" .

  5. You don't specify what kind of p**p. Human p**p? dog p**p? In parts of Africa, elephant dung is used as a ceramic materials to make pottery. After firing it at a 1000 degrees, it's sterile and can be used for everyday use. Earthworm p**p is used as an organic fertilizer. In Mongolia, camel p**p is the primary means of energy, cooking fires and heating homes. However, I have read that the fumes may cause respiratory diseases. However you use the p**p, you will have to do a considerable amount of research to determine the safety to humans and environmental consequences of using this p**p as energy.

  6. You can use it in 2 ways, first harvest the methane emittted as the poo dries out, and then once it dries out use it a solid fuel.

  7. You'd use a process called anaerobic decomposition, which involves keeping it heated to about 98 degrees sealed off from air, and let existing organisms give off methane gas as they break the p**p down.   In fact this is done to a limited extent at most sewage plants, and in all mammalian digestive tracts too.

  8. Human excreta as well as cow/horse dung can be used in bio-gas plants to generate methane which can then be used as fuel.

The solid residue can be used as fertilizer.

  9. Mix the p**p with other biodegradable materials... place pipe through center of pile. Stir once a week.... the heat in the pipe can be used as a thermal generator or run a pump to pump in water..etc

  10. Pick out all the peanuts and feed the hungry!
