I have been having ailments which have been bothering me for over 4 months. I need 2-3 specific tests done. But , when I ask my doctors to refer me to specialists to get them done, they say "no" or "you are too young to have problems like that" or just brush me off thinking im being too delusional or like I dont know what im talking about.

The internet and online doctors and health experts and my uncle in michigan who is a cardiologist have all recommended me to get these tests done but my doctors wont let me.

My health isnt getting any better and im tired going to the ER, I need these tests done. How do I get the docs to allow me to get these tests completed?

The tests I need done are:

- CT scan for chest

and/or

- Bronchoscopy

- Thallium stress test

  1. I'm sorry that you don't have a doctor that will listen to you. Try going to a walk in clinic to see if one will refer you for these tests... some days patients need to be their own advocates. You can also let them know tactfully, that you have a right to these tests.

I don't know if there is a doctor shortage where you live, but it sound like you need to find a new one. Keep seeing doctors until one listens to you.

  2. Have your uncle call him.  You don't state what your symptoms are but it's obviously serious because of the tests you need done. If that fails have your lawyer call him.

  3. May be its stress   have you asked about that?
