my dad can get a special plan from his work where you can only choose a limited amount of phones. i want to purchase the lg 8700 shine which is 60.00 BUT comes with a micro sd card and adapter!

my mom wants me to get a $0. the ones that are $0 are HORRIBLE ill just say that. even though ive told her that she still wants me to get a $0 phone, even though she has her own motorola rzr which she doesnt even use that much.

how do i convince her to let me get it?

  1. sugest that you get hers, and she get a $0

other then that have you contemplated that you guys migth not have the best economy at the time so there is a reason for it

  2. get a job and buy your own phone!!!

  3. you're parents are going to be footing the bill on a monthly plan, hope you are responsible enough not to run their phone bill through the roof. (it costs monthly and it costs to activate the phone as well) a lot of kids get stuck with prepaid because their parents don't trust them not to run up the phone bill. so you are quite lucky, maybe your mom will switch phones with you, maybe not, if not then if you want the phone here's an idea GET A JOB.

  4. Well, I don't see why you would need such a great phone, Cell Phones can give brain tumors if you use it around an hour + each day. If you want to talk to your friends use a house phone, much safer plus they don't cost so much. You should only use cell phones in case of emergencies.

Anyway, thought I should point that out. You should probably just tell her why you need it and you'd pay for it.

  5. Be grateful you're getting a phone at all!

Kids these days ...don't know they're born.

  6. If your mother doesn't use her own motoral rzr - make a deal with her - you get the $0 phone and then swap her for hers.
