I am a 13 year old boy and i need a new full sized bike. My dad doesn't like spending a lot of money on bikes. I am going to get a hard tail specialized bike for $649.00 He doesnt want to spend more than $400.00 I think. How can i convince him to get me a more expensive bike?

  1. Make a chore rota and tell him you'll stick to it. That might convince him.

Get a paper route or do odd-jobs for your neighbours. It'll show him you're dedicated for that new bike.

  2. Do not convince... It is very bad and sinful. I suggest you try and make your own money or save it up.. That way, you can get your expensive bike without convincing anybody.. Good luck with that.

  3. Tom has the obvious answer. Work for the extra cost - make your dad proud of you instead of disappointed in you.

  4. try to go half or give him the extra money by earning it or somthing

  5. well you should beg and beg and beg until he gives in! it always works for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. I have to side with the First National Bank of Dad.

Been there and done that with Junior.   I spent what I was willing to spend, if he wanted more, he had to earn it.  Especially since he had a habit of losing everything that wasn't firmly attached.

At your age, he bought a used lawnmower and made a bunch of money over the summer.

  7. Find work and try selling stuff you have that you don't need anymore or don't even know that you have XD (try selling your old bikes)
